Here is the latest art exhibition happening in town. David Hall is showcasing ‘Wider Circle’, an exhibition of art works and paintings that will be a treat for art-lovers in the city. The paintings are done by internationally renowned Australian artist Ken Johnson. His works are accepted internationally. They are displayed at various renowned centers and owned by VIP’s. His collections have been bought by Rupert Murdoch, Bank of America, Time Inc., Commonwealth Bank Australia, Hewlett Packard, Debeers London, Presidential Palace Israel, and Newcastle Regional Art Gallery New South Wales etc.!!
Ken Johnson’s love towards India can be seen in his art-works as well. “Since 1973, my encounters within India have allowed me to explore and experience a wide variety of India’s ‘contained subjects’ as varied as the country itself. The exhibition title alludes to the idea that the correlation of subjects as diverse as they are, embraces an ever expanding ‘wider circle’ ”, says Ken Johnson.
The gallery would be open from 10 a.m to 7 p.m. David Hall will remain closed on Mondays. You can drop in any day from 24th March- 15th April 2012. Don’t miss this one!
