Tell us something about yourself?

I am like a small baby who cares for everyone specially those who have touched my life in many ways… my close friends call me chulbuli (naughty, bubbly) and my parents used to call me younger smaller version of Mother Teressa. I love to help people

How did you get your start with Designing?

I always loved to play around wid clothes since childhood. But in college i had taken BBA first, but after the first year i dint like it and i decided on what i always wanted to do….FASHION DESIGNING

Who is your role model & why?

I have many role models in my life, but my main hero in making me dream has always been my grandpa….he had told me once when i was small sumhow i still rememebr he had told me follow your heart…so even if i have a really tough situation i think of that and still do it!

What do you think about the Fashion scenario in kochi?

Fashion scenario in kochi is still evolving in the new era of fashion. The latest fashion aroma still has to set in. Its in process of climbing steps to the glamarous movement of fashion!

What is your greatest achievement in this field so far?

My greatest achievement was the gems and jewellery fashion show in the year of 2010 in kochi… far more to come.

When did u decide to launch your brand?

The thought evolved for me long back but one close friend had helped me focus on this dream of mine, helped me with the name ARSHA, a brand which augments your demeanour with poise and gives you an ethereal grace by adorning you in its beautiful blend of fabrics and exclusive designs. Each of which is thoughtfully crafted keeping your needs in mind.

The BANG launch is yet to happen soon…

How is the experience so far?

Experience so far has been mysterious as an eternal sparkle, its like ANYTHING can happen…every second heartbeats were revealing and facing new bangs and splashs of fashion!
What inspires Nilisha as a person and as a designer?

What inspires me…. ummm good question actually…Relationships inspire me a lot as a person as theres a spark of growing up into a magical world of dreams and hopes. As a designer the ethinicity of the greek will be the strongest which you will see the reflection in my designs too.

Actor Dileep flagged off the Event from Kakkanad Civil Station at 9 am. Kochi Mayor Tony Chammany, Deputy Mayor Bhadra Satheesh, and Collector Dr Beena  also used the public transport system on the day, in addition to celebrities, MLAs, and prominent persons from all walks of life.

Both the KSRTC and private buses operators  participated in the venture. Red FM was the media partner for the day.
