Apart from patients, doctors too arrive at Ayurvedic hospitals in Kerala from foreign countries. The Kochi-based Punarnava Ayurvedic hospital is involved in providing practical sessions for the benefit of such medical experts. A few seminars were organised at the hospital recently in which foreigners interacted with Ayurvedic doctors.

A team of 11 from the U.S. attended a one-day seminar on January 15 at the hospital. Another session was organised there on January 19 in which 14 dentists and social workers from the U.S. took part. A group of 25 paediatric doctors will be attending a seminar on January 25. The seminars are part of the continuing Ayurvedic awareness programme.
