Apart from this , there will also be stalls that sell machineries from Nagpur , Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh.

There will be bamboo related cultural programmes in the evenings of during the Bamboo festival . Products being displayed will include handicrafts from bamboo and furniture . Live exhibition of bamboo product making will be a highlight of the event.

A technical seminar on bamboo nursery and product management organised by the Kerala Bamboo mission will be held on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am.

The State government has also approved plans to set up a bamboo floor tile factory. The unit coming up in Kozhikode will be implemented using Chinese technology.
