The Film Club of Maharajas College is organizing an event for film-lovers across South India. Bioscope 2012, a short film festival competition will aim at promoting budding talents, amateurs and experts; enticing them to come together and showcase their talents in making short films.
Bioscope 2012 will be held under two categories : Short Films lesser than 10 minutes duration (micro short films), and the ones which are between 10 – 30 minutes. Both English and Malayalam movies can be screened at the festival. There are exciting prizes awaiting the winners. The winners for the short film up to 30 minutes category will be awarded a cash prize of 10,000 rupees. A prize money of 3000 rupees awaits the best micro short film.
The fest scheduled for March 13th, will be inaugurated with the screening of “Frame to a Protagonist- Salim Kumar” directed by Anil Sign. You will have to pay a registration fee of 300 rupees for each entry. Submit your entries before the 7th of March 2012.
