When Kochi’s finest is not fighting bad guys and sheilding our city from bad things, they are going to help the city’s students. The city’s cops are going to council students to help them cope with stress during examination times and thus helping in eliminating student’s suicidal tenancies.
Two constables from each police station have been given the necessary training to start counseling students and teachers in their respective jurisdiction. According to the Ernakulam SP, who launched the unique effort most of the students mental stress during exam times and many show suicidal tendencies.

This is areally crappy idea put forward by the police. If they are ready to do something for the public, they should actually teach the students- SELF DEFENCE !!!! I dont know how police can help reduce stress of students- when their actual parents fail-i think stress related stuff should be left to parents and teachers and police could more concentrate on things like self defence for students- girls especially! that really helps when they have to face bad situations in the public. even for boys- it really helps! maybe it can save a life, who knowz??
and these students will be more interested to go practical and learn some defence moves than sit in a boring councelling class… and it will be useful… I really appreciate that they are coming up with interesting ideas for the goodwill of the public, especially students who are the future of the city, meanwhile i doubt the success rate
