The Kochi city traffic police are all set to rake in some big bucks. They recently announced how they intend to start fining parking offenders and make sizable contributions to our treasury. According to our cops, Kochi has a huge bunch of folks who lacks basic parking etiquette and these people have an special liking to park their cars on crowded roads and disrupt traffic. They say that 60% of Kochi’s motorists are parking offenders. Looking into the past year figures, the cops have managed to raise close to R.S 20,00,000 just from the major roads.

While you can expect to pay fines between RS. 100 and RS. 200, bad parking on or around MG Road can set you back R.S 500.
