This huge project will change the lifestyle in Kochi, altering traffic chaos and confusions that have prevailed here for a long time. Speculations regarding the implementation of the project was there always, but now, with this final hurdle also being crossed, Kochi is welcoming its new metro rail.

Kochi Metro not only promises traffic ease, but growth in the industrial sector, more employment opportunities etc., hence elating the status of our city to that of a cosmopolitan. Expected to be 25 km long, and extending up to Aluva from Petta, Kochi Metro will have 22 stations across the city. This project is expected to be completed with an amount of 5126 crores.
