The State Tourism is coming up with some great treats to Kochiites. The festival season has embarked and the State government has many plans in store to entertain Kochi. The inauguration of the festival season in Kochi will be inaugurated on the 18^th of December, 6. 00 p.m at Vasco Da Gama Square.

Along with promoting arts and artists from various walks of life, this festival will also be a platform where art-lovers can come, meet and enjoy. Along with programmes that will happen in Fortkochi, shows will also be held at Munambam, Kumbalangi, and Cherai. Since December is usually marked to be the season of joy, this initiative of the Tourism department will truly add to the splendour to the tourist season.

There will be programmes happening every Sunday till the 26^th of February. The shows which will be held on the 18^th and 25^th will be done in coordination with the Cochin carnival committee.
