UC College at Aluva is gearing up for a Techno event! The two-day technological festival ‘TechNeo’ has begun on the 7th of March 2012. One of the pioneer educational institutions in the state, UC College has contributed much for enhancing Arts and Science education in the state. The TechNeo fest is conducted by the Department of Electronics. The festival was inaugurated by the Principal of UC College, Thomas Philip. Organized as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the college, TechNeo is now open!
The TechNeo fest will be an opportunity for students to come together and discuss technology related topics. The exhibitions and seminars which will be conducted as part of the event will facilitate in enhancing the students’ knowledge on the latest technology. The organizers plan to conduct a seminar on Open Resource Software and Auto Show for TechNeo. A Computer trouble-shooting class will also be held for 200 persons (those who are registered).

Design-thinking would be highlighted for the course, and students get a chance to acquaint themselves with the latest updates in fashion.

Here is yet another college fest happening in Kochi. And this time we have Kochi’s most prestigious Sacred Heart’s College coming up with a great cultural fest. Organized by the Commerce Department of Sacred Heart’s, ‘Tandav 2012’ will showcase some best college talents this year as well. The fest is being conducted after a gap of two years. Being South India’s largest fest, Tandav 2012 is one-of-its kind.
Attractive cash prizes will be given off this year too. Cash prices worth 1.2 lakhs awaits you! With Sreekandan Nair, an eminent journalist and anchor, being the Chief Guest for the event, Tandav 2012 is all set to take wings soon. The fest will happen on the 6th and 7th of January 2012. There will be nine events and there will be a spectacular performance by the contestants of Indian Voice on the finale day evening.
