JT Pac is geared up with their next big show, which is scheduled to happen this weekend. This time, they are presenting a comic thriller named ‘Pune Highway’. The play is written and directed by Rahul D Cunha, and is based on friendship and crisis related to it.

The star cast is something you would definitely want to check out. You will have Rajit Kapur, Shankar Sachdev, Yamini Namjoshi, and Ashwin Mushran in the lead roles. The story revolves around a group of friends who stay in a hotel at the Bombay-Pune highway, and the related incidents that happen.

The director of the famous play ‘Class of 84’ has written and directed this play too. The story revolves around characters in Mumbai, and the city also is a pivotal character in the play.

The leading protagonists in the play, struggle to fit in hard with the changing social, economic and cultural sides of the city. The play is something you would want to watch, as it picks on various societal matters as well.

The play is directed by Sam Kerawala. You will have Maanvi Gagroo and Danesh Irani in the leading roles. Pheroza Modi, Ameen Kazerouni and Shikha Talsania are also starring in the play.

JT Pac presents yet another play for theatre lovers in Kochi. Writer-Director Rahul Da Cunha’s play ‘Class of 84’ is something which you would love to check out. The plot surrounds a group of friends, their times of happiness and sadness, cheers and smiles and lot more. Having completed more than 200 shows across the nation, ‘Class of 84’ was first staged in the year 2003.

Seven friends come together after a long time, and they hadn’t kept in touch over the years. But no matter how many years have passed by, they still remained friends. Death of an eight friend causes terrible grief to the other seven friends.

JT Pac presents ‘Asima’ the vocal and percussion band performing for you live on the 29^th of April 2012 at JT performing Arts Centre. With India’s rhythms striking beautifully along with the harmony of western music, ‘Asima’s performance will entertain musical lovers.

Vocalists for the band are Gokul Bhaskaran, Anil Ram, Anoop Mohandas, Anoop Sivanandan and Khalid. Keyboard is from Yakzan Pereira and Bass Guitar from Ben Sam Jones. Sajith Padmanabhan will be on the Percussion.

JT Pac is ready with their next surprise for the weekend, and they are all set to treat your ears with some lovely music. This time they are coming up with ‘Mystic Moods’ by Khayal Groove. Mixing  Bass Guitar with  North Indian Classical Vocals, Khayal Groove is a rare amalgamation and blend of lovely music. This band is quite famous for their tunes, and their music has also been much appreciated.

If you are in the mood for some Hindustani Classical music or Indian Slap Bass, you would love their show that is happening on Saturday evening in Kochi. This fusion is something which will not fail to entertain you. The band comprises of Aparna Panshikar on the vocals, Jayen Verma on the Bass Guitar, Santosh Chandran (from Motherjane) on the Acoustic Guitar, Sasikumar on the Piano, and Anish on the drums.

It’s Women’s day on the 8^th of March. Saluting womanhood, JT Pac, Kochi’s pioneer arts centre, plans to conduct an event for the woman in Kerala. The event will bring together women from various walks of life and they can share their concerns, views, and opinions on various topics. The organizers expect a good turn over this year with their maiden venture. They also plan to conduct this event every year with JT Pac as the venue.

More than 350 women from the state are expected to take part in the event. From teachers, journalists, entrepreneurs, doctors, corporates, government employees and more, JT Pac will play venue to an event exclusively for women. The successful ones would share their stories and the bitter tales that they underwent in order enjoy the fruits which that they relish on now, and how each women is unique in her own way! The evening will also witness a performance by Usha Uthup!

Being a state with the highest literacy rate in the country, Kerala has a huge number of educated women. She has showcased her skills and talents at umpteen platforms. The event will be one-of-its-kind.
