Your dreams, aspirations, thoughts and ideas can be drawn and shown to the world through ‘Color In’. The competition starts at 3 p.m.

Kids from 1^st- 7^th standards can take part in the event. The contest which will be inaugurated by renowned artist C. N. Karunakaran, will bring kids from across the city to show their skills in painting and art. The paintings drawn by the little ones would be shown to the District Collector as well.

Saman Bachpan Abhiyan is launching a National Photography/Painting contest titled “Equal-India 2009” to raise voice against unequal opportunities for children. The idea is to involve artists, across India to create an art production on the issue of Equal Opportunity in Childhood. This initiative, will not only create mass awareness among the general public and various stakeholders of the education sector, but will also highlight the need for providing special focus to issues related to Equal Opportunity in Childhood.

Awarded and selected entries would be displayed at a National level exhibition to be organized along side the award function.
