Kochi art galleries have been hosting some great works since the past few months. Providing ample opportunities for budding artists, painters, photographers etc., the art works that are exhibited are excellent and unique. Bindi Art gallery is one amongst the most looked up art galleries in the city. They showcase some splendid works which have been widely acclaimed.

This month, Bindi art gallery is showcasing the exhibition ‘Roots’ where you can to witness some classy art works from young students. Works of Ashil Antony, Aby Edassey, Mona Mohan, R. Anagha, and P. Ramesh will be put up. The exhibition begins on the 9^th of January 2012 and will on till the 14^th of this month. These young artists are pursuing their final year BFA from R. L. V. College Thripunithura.

Make sure you do not miss this one, as you get to see the talents of young creative minds. The exhibition starts at 11 a.m. and will close down by 7 p.m. Mr. K. Sidharthan, HOD of the painting department of R. L. V. College will be inaugurating the event.

The Kerala Lalithakala Akademy is organising a unique festival of world film classics that deal with music and fine arts at the RLV College of Music and Fine Arts, Thripunithura.

The five-day festival was inaugurated  on Monday, the 30th of November and will close on December 4.

Four films that deal with music, painting, sculpture, photography and other fine arts will be screened each day.
